It can serve for transporting canoes, kayaks, ladders, and other lighter loads. You can also remove the rack in no time flat and use it as two sawhorses at the worksite or as storage stands at home. This rack is manufactured from high-quality steel that is first zinc-plated and then covered with a semi-gloss black powder coat finish for exceptional corrosion resistance. Super strong and durable, it can carry up to 300 pounds of cargo. The Hawaiian Sawhorse Rack consists of 4 sets of metal legs, bases, and all necessary hardware needed to assemble the rack with your wooden crossbars. It uses an advanced U.S. Rack clamping system that is a perfect alternative to drilling into the truck body. The system allows you to easily mount the rack as well as ensures that it will stay in place and carry a full load. This rack can be easily adjusted to fit any pickup with ordinary fleetside bed rails. It comes with bed rail padding that protects the truck’s finish from scratches and other cosmetic damage. The eye-bolts are also provided to allow you to easily tie down cargo with ropes and ratchet straps. U.S. RACK® began in a garage in Silicon Valley. The company’s founder, Chris Green, removed his welded rack off his pickup and found out that he had a sore back and no place to store the bulky rack. He wanted to create a rack that could clamp onto a truck and be stored easily when not in use. Determined to make sure that his designs were sturdy and safe, Chris initially worked with a university engineering department and later with an independent engineering lab to load-test components and products. In 2000, he set up a small shop to manufacture the first production racks and in 2003 built the larger manufacturing plant in Madera, Ca. U.S. Rack is still a small business but now manufactures over 40 different models of racks to satisfy every need for both work and play. Whether you need a rack to carry your bike, kayak, canoe, or any other cargo, the company has you covered. Have a Question?
