These lines are manufactured from steel lines and rubber hoses or supplied as extruded plastic tubing, depending on the requirements involved. Lines are optimized very early on in the development phase in terms of their static behavior (pedal and release travel characteristics) and dynamic behavior (pedal return speed in cold conditions, pedal vibration) using computer simulation techniques. All lines are supplied with quick-release connectors made of plastic. They can also be optionally supplied with chafing protection, additional thermal protection or integrated fixing clips.
