To prevent the trailer from swaying, BulletProof Hitches offers a sway control system that connects from the sway control ball mount of the hitch to the front of the trailer. This system is to stiffen the connection between the truck and trailer, keeping it straight and in-line with the towing vehicle. The adjustable channel plate is 5/16″ thick and laser cut, the gusset that reinforces the hitch is 1/2″ steel plate, similar to the plate used to armor military vehicles. The combination of these features give the hitch it’s superior rating of up to 36,000lbs. The edges of the steel bar are CNC-chamfered for appearance and functionality, making it easy to install and remove the hitch from any receiver. This would include any cracking, peeling, corrosion, or bubbling in the powder coat that is not caused by normal usage, such as wear on the ball from towing. Any damage or wear to any of the securing pins used throughout the product. What Is Not Covered Powder coat wear from normal usage, such as around the shank of the hitch or the ball of the hitch. Wear in these two areas is inevitable & should be expected with normal use of the hitch. Any structural compromise as a result of misuse or illegal towing practices.
